Meal Service - Patients

All patient meals are prepared by the Hospitality Services team according to the dietary instructions given to us by the physician. A representative visits patients daily to assist in choosing preferred meals from the menu.

Some patients have allergies or intolerance to certain foods as well as specific likes and dislikes. If these have not been identified on the patient's order, a hospitality services representative should be notified.

Patients are served breakfast between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and dinner between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. If a patient must be away from the room for tests or treatment during meal times, the patient's nurse will notify Hospitality Services when the diet is to be reinstated.
