Childbirth
Having a new baby is an exciting time in you and your families life. And one of the most important decisions you'll make is where to have your baby. Seven Rivers Regional's experienced physicians and caring nurses will not only baby your baby, they'll baby you, too.
The family-centered unit offers private room care in a soothing, comfortable setting. Our all-inclusive labor/delivery/recovery/post-partum (LDRP) suites allow you stay in one room through the delivery and birth of your child. In most stays, there is no moving from one place to another. And once that bundle of joy is here, your baby gets to stay in the room with you. But if you do need some time to yourself, our staff will watch and care for your new little one.
The Center features:
- Four LDRP suites
- Delivery room for cesarean births
- Eight-bed nursery (Level 1)
- Eight post-partum/gynecology beds
- Advanced fetal monitoring
- Secured unit for you and your baby's safety
- Transfer agreements with major medical centers just in case your baby has special medical needs
We also offer the birthing partner the option of rooming-in with mother and baby. And before you go home, you and your partner will be treated to a celebration meal as well as a new baby care package.
