Inpatient Services is staffed by a caring and compassionate team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nurse assistants. A "charge" nurse is responsible for directing and coordinating the nursing care on each of the hospital's medical/surgical floors.
2nd Floor
The 2nd Floor, also known as 2 South, is a 41-bed telemetry unit. Patients are admitted on  routine telemetry orders based on pre-established telemetry/discharge criteria.
This unit provides for cardiac patients as well as for patients needing cardizem and heparin, just to name a few. Staff members include experienced nurses and assistants as well as nurse leaders with advanced cardiac life support certification.
3rd Floor
The 3rd Floor, also known as 3 North, is a 38-bed unit used primarily for surgical, orthopedic and oncology patients. Patients are admitted on routine admission orders.

Billing & Insurance
You will receive separate bills from the hospital, attending physician, radiologist, anesthesiologist, pathologist and any other medical specialist who provided your treatment. If you have any questions, please call 352.795.8318.
Helpful Info for Families
- Please turn your cell phones on "vibrate" when you enter the patient care area.
- Restrooms are located near the 1st floor lobby and on the 2nd and 3rd floor lobbies.
- The cafeteria is located on the 1st floor near the main lobby. Cafeteria hours.
- Snacks are available near the cafeteria, ICU/Surgery Waiting Room and Emergency Department.
- Telephones are available near the cafeteria, Emergency Department, 2nd and 3rd floor lobbies.
- The gift shop is located on the 1st floor near the main lobby.
- A quiet room is located on the 3rd floor. Visitors are welcome at any time.
